Modeling has always been an aspiration of mine! In my youth, I was fortunate enough to work in New York as a commercial, print model. After over 20 years, I returned to the industry in 2014 and was so excited to be signed as a mature, lifestyle model. For many years, the strict height requirements of most modeling agencies have made it difficult for someone of my stature to be scouted and signed, let alone achieve success. While the industry has evolved to become more inclusive and representative of models of all sizes, shapes, and ages, it still has a long way to go. Many times, we must create our own pathways to that end. And so my personal journey has brought me here. I founded The Bronze Lady J as a launching vehicle to promote my talents as a nonstandard, freelance model. I am excited to be able to bring my passion for fashion to the forefront by working with other creative and talented minds to bring their ideas to life.
